Born and raised on a mixed farm near Barrhead, AB, with stocker steers and crops. Bachelor of Science through the University of Alberta majoring in Animal Science, with an unofficial minor in rangeland, forage, and pasture management. Worked with crop and soil science, as well as rangeland sciences. Worked 4.3 years as a Foage-Beef Specialist with the Ag-Info Centre of Alberta Agriculture. Currently work at BRRG as the Extension Environment Agrologist.
