This demonstration explores how different nitrogen rates, combined with or without plant growth regulators (PGRs), influence lodging and yield performance in feed barley across three tested varieties in East-Central Alberta. The goal is to identify nitrogen management strategies that maintain high yields while reducing lodging risk under local growing conditions. This demonstration was supported through funding from Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR).
