Alexander Olson BSc.

Field Coordinator

Alexander Olson has a passion for biology and an interest in the ecosystems of Central Alberta. He has worked for two seasons in variety, efficacy, and magnitude of residue trials in the Alberta parkland. For 7 years previously, Alex repaired and maintained an expansive variety of machines. Alex’s passion for biology blossomed at the Camrose Augustana campus of the University of Alberta where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He grew up in the Camrose County which was also instrumental in his growing interest in agriculture. Alex lives in Camrose with his wife and their two daughters. They enjoy hiking, camping, and playing board games.

Khalil Ahmed PhD., PAg

Manager & communication Coordinator

Dr. Khalil has more than eight years of research experience. He is a Ph.D. in Soil science Agriculture, and he has a Diploma in Environmental Sciences. Before BRRG, Khalil worked for SARDA Ag Research as a research and environmental coordinator. In the past, he has worked in the fertilizer industry in Pakistan, at the Agricultural Institute of Malaysia and Integrated Crop Research Management Services in Fort-Saskatchewan.

He has published his research in various refereed journals and newsletters and has presented in many conferences. His publications include 11 reviewed research papers, 15 proceedings, one book chapter, and several reports and articles.

Apart from work, he enjoys playing cricket and tennis, watching documentaries, and watching YouTube videos on how to repair things.

Dona Stoddart

Payroll & Book Keeper

Dona brought a huge accounting experience to BRRG with her extraordinary financial skills. She worked as an account manager and financial advisor in the banking industry. She loves to take care of her dogs. She enjoys camping in summer.

Nasima Junejo PhD., PAg.

Research Program Manager

Recently BRRG hired Dr. Junejo as Research Program Manager. She has 16 years of research experience. She is providing her service To BRRG since 2018 as a freelance consultant of Agriculture Research and Extension. She did her Post doctorate from University of Alberta. She worked for SARDA almost two years as an agronomist and research coordinator.

In 2017, she joined the agriculture ministry of Guyana as Canadian Agriculture Consultant and trained agriculture research officers . Dr. Junejo is a technical editor and reviewer of many international journals. She is a soil science specialist. during her research career, she worked on Soil amendments, nutrient cycling, soil health and fertilizer efficiency in relation to soil and field crops.you can check her publication on google scholar
